GETTING AROUND CORTE
Corte is a small town with a population of 7,700. You can get everywhere on foot, except if you live in a few very outlying neighborhoods like Saint Pancrace, and even then, it's still manageable for trail runners. From point 4 to point 8 on our map, it's only 1 km (1,050 m to be precise). Don't hesitate to use the footbridge to get from the town center to the stadium, for example. The map below allows you to locate the main points related to our races.
GETTING AROUND THE RESTONICA VALLEY
The Restonica Valley suffered considerable damage during storms Ciaran and Domingos in November 2023. These storms caused significant damage to the RD 623 departmental road, making access to the valley extremely difficult. Vehicle traffic was prohibited from Tuani. A shuttle service was set up by the Corsican Community, operating seven days a week. They depart from Corte train station and provide access to the starting and finishing points of hikes located in the Restonica Valley. To reach the "Grotelle Chez Téo" checkpoint on UTC 100M and RT 100K, get off at the "A Frassetta" stop and walk to Grotelle (6 km and 500 m elevation gain). You can follow the link below to access the shuttle service: schedules, reservations, etc.
